You quoted me, then didn't even address my comment, but instead made my point for me. Thanks.

Clearly if you're playing Salem, there are other appealing features, besides just the "payment model."

Let me save you a lot of money then.

Your business is going to fail. Stop investing in it.

Anybody who couldnt' find custom mods on Salem and is quitting because that is too hard will NOT run a successful business.

It's a real shame though, because I really enjoyed this game.

Funny how you try to make a point without knowing what you're talking about. The 2 month deletion time is only applicable if you have never payed for the game. A very fair deletion period, if you ask me. Another point you make yourself. You shoot down a game on an invalid point you somehow seem to have put in your mind.

Speaking as a custom client coder (albeit for a much shorter time than ender), I can say I happily improve on the usability of the existing client if that means the devs can focus solely on game concepts and optimizing the client. Yes, there will always people that don't trust a 3rd part client, but the custom clients provided here on the forum are a 100% open source. You're free to download the source code (linked in their respective threads) and go through the code before compiling it yourself. That way you can convince yourself they are not maliciously sending your password to the coders. FYI: they don't :)
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

Have you actually read what I quoted? I'm only playing this game because of the payment model AND because it's an MMO crafting game. There just isn't many MMO crafting games out there.

It's something I heard and didn't really look into. Like I said, I'm not going to spend $10.77 monthly on a java based game, that's pretty ridiculous if you ask me. I also don't like the idea that in addition to this, it also supports micropayments. The payment model is still just flat-out horrible. I would much rather buy Xsyon which is known as the better Wurm Online, which I agree with because I have played the game personally.

Uh huh, uncivilized are we? Actually my business is growing, but I do have other more important things I must spend my money on rather than gaming unless it's truly worth it. Don't see how finding modifications for a game has anything to do with a business. You make very poor analogies that make very little sense, if at all. Now that you're personally attacking me, I'm going to avoid you. Have fun with whatever you're trying to do.

I'm sure the $10.77 that you saved by not playing Wurm Online is the reason for this. Well done!

To be fair there was a bit more longevity than a month when there was a Purity system that had meaningful advancement. But yeah. Crafting content and things like animal husbandry would go a long way to increasing the life-span of the average Salem player.
