I bet I could get GH to start playing again if they gave us those characters.

And yet you instruct us how mechanics are broken, how should they be fixed, and you seem to know better than us why MM rules and why it's unbeatable.
Besides, 1 person can go unnoticed for months, if they are clever. They can even infiltrate enemy ranks, despite what MM says. And with proper leadership, wit, organization and deception whole group can defend itself against the tribe. It really is not about the biles.
^This.
The only reason they own the server is because they are a very dedicated group of gamers. They spend a **** load of time playing the game, and do so in a productive manner. Anyone who dedicates as much time and effort to the game as they have/do has the chance to attain the same, if that is their goal.
The MM Tribe's opposition didn't quit the game because of them. They (We) all quit for different reasons, none of which were directly or indirectly related to the MM Tribe. If we were to decide to once again no-life it up on Salem, we could challenge their dominance, but it would take serious commitment to do so.
It is as it should be. Someone who plays casually, and/or doesn't have a comprehensive understanding of the game and its mechanics, can't compete with a group of dedicated, cohesive, knowledgeable players. Get over it.

This coming from the guy who doesn't know the difference between their, they're, and there. Don't spout **** claiming intellectual supremacy when you can't even grasp the simple grammar rules of your native language.
so your saying, with all the current server members spies/members for the clan, and their members likely moving up and down the map searching for people that dont belong, you can somehow keep an army of players hidden including a base, (understand they destroy any buildings they come across that dont belong.) and build up enough to not only take them out, but also their alts who all this time have also been amassing and feeding to make as strong as their mains? Forgive me if I don't believe that possible.
And yes, I know it wasn't the only reason, infact the big part that got them where they are now was because of the boredom of others, the expecting of a wipe, and the crap that was going on with purity. As Chief has said "they went around killing all the offline criminals" who became criminal because of the various things going on. I honestly don't care what made you guys leave, the fact is, you did, and that allowed them to conquer the world. But I am saying, with their current dedication, it is impossible to remain hidden and alive long enough to build up to their strength, and take out all of their people, including the many alts they have been making to ensure they dont lose their position. There may be a slim, very slim, chance of taking some of them out, but the fact that they are allowed to make alts, and keep em stored nearby for use and fully trained... Kinda ruins any hope of winning.
And I never claimed intellectual supremacy, I simply explained it looking at it in a different way. Players take free to play games heavily for granted, and need to understand that money, is indeed, a large concern for developers. You want a fun game, but it also has to make a certain profit, if it doesn't, you need to change it till it does, or scrap it and move on, and that process usually has a window of time, the longer it takes, the greater the chance that your just going to scrap it. And also, I never said I was an English major, though I still write better than a number of people, like that vien guy who said some rather nasty things, but because of his lack of proper English, it came out less insulting and more, foolish.
And too be honest, I was expecting Paul the paymaster to post before you, though I was expecting your post as well. You all have just that slight touch of flamming, not enough to be bannable, but just enough to piss people off. And then when the person gets angry, you get on your high horse, throw on a halo, and start turning it around on them, despite starting the fight yourself, or you jump in to save one another... Really cute. For once it would be nice if you people kept on topic, and actually gave some solid arguable facts according to the thread, which was about, the humour system regarding blood making old players too powerful, and doesn't sit right with the flow of the game, that armor, defensive items, should be a more primary focus on increasing mortality based on the reasons that 1. it fits with crafting oriented games, 2. it fits with the 1600s the time this game is based on, explorers and soldiers wore armor to protect from swords, musket balls, arrows, and stones. (especially arrows/stones in the americas.) because they couldn't magically increase their mortality by another other means, though they could increase their general survival through strength, agility, and endurance, as well as general combat training. 3. a nakid guy vs a guy with a sword/gun, should not be hard to beat with a sword or gun... It makes people chuck norris, godly, and that really just doesn't fit with the folklore, salem, or the era, it just doesn't make sense, and many people, not just me, have been saying the same thing... It makes people too powerful.
Don't get me wrong, I like power, the rewards from playing a long time should be nice, but not godlike... The rewards should be more realistic, and revolve around superior armor/weaponry, rather than stuffing your face the longest.

Yes, that is exactly what I'm saying. Considering the population on Plymouth, and the size of the map, if you're smart about your tactics, you can remain hidden for a very long time. They still haven't destroyed Glennfinnan's base, and he's been there since just before Gallows Hill fell. He doesn't pay the treaty, or submit to the tyranny of the MM Tribe. Just because something doesn't seem possible to you, doesn't mean that someone else with more experience, ingenuity, and skill can't make it happen.

While those rewards may seem "godlike" to you, they simply aren't. It just takes hard work, dedication, a little time, and knowledge of the game's mechanics to get there. So to a new player, or someone such as yourself who has been gone a while and doesn't know how the game works, it appears impossible. The problem is that rather than learn about the game, and figure out how you can achieve the same results, you simply gave up; attributing your failure to a flawed mechanic, rather than your own lack of fortitude.

You are making my point for me. You can't call someone out for not using proper English if you don't know how to use it yourself.

your right, its possible, which is why their treaty has been active for almost a year now. Im sure in all this time no one has thought to try to reclaim that server. You know what, lets just let it happen then. Hey Chief, I take it by now you and your clan has fully built characters on each of the servers, with an army of alts ready and waiting for transfer when server transfers open up for other servers? They clearly want you to, so go ahead and take control of the other two servers... Hell i,ll pay your treaty if you show them you can take complete control before the transfers are made available. I assume you hopefully have 1 or more spies who have infiltrated some of the main clans bases on each server? You've had 9 months to prepare for this, and your obviously gearing up for a full scale invasion with all your posts about forcing gladiator matches, and taxes on the other two servers. I wouldn't doubt that you have it planed for the anniversary of your treaty, especially effective when the other servers are low on people atm, all you would have to do is tell everyone in your clan to get on and you would easily outnumber the other two servers in population... The perfect time to strike before population starts bubbling back up, and then you can safely sit on each server, without being contested.
Atleast if I were in your position and had your, mindset, those would be the plans I would have been making all this time, my backup plan involving server transfers for my many high-powered alts incase I needed to hit them back with sheer numbers of premade characters.

We would welcome a world where the Dev's placed a unique "TeePee" in our base and then gave all starting characters 1,000 humours . Then our server can be about trying to take our Teepee. Even if every new player started @ 1K I still doubt we would fall.

WTF do you think the Gladiator Matches and Server Debt program are about? Over the next few months the other servers will come into the slow realization that we own their servers and their lives are in our hands. Having 3 Plymouths sounded very boring. Instead we will have one Server who is a financial supporter (Turned out Jamestown provided to be VERY generous in this regard) and one server who feels the pain of their stubborn-ness (Roanoke at the moment). Meanwhile those who wish to play farmville in complete peace can do so on our HQ server of Plymouth for a small fee.

Problem is even if you gave Mushi a character with those kind of biles he would still die. Mushi may be the grammar police but he is no pvp player. Of course he will come here and tell me how good he was. But trust me I saw him die enough to know he was not the real deal. Had it not been for Bait he would of died a lot more than he did. Honestly I do not get what makes the difference anymore. The Devs can tell us they are indeed fixing things. But I have had the privilege to have worked with a real programmer on a game and he did leaps and bounds more than these two guys have done in a lot less time. They are not dedicated to working. This is more of a hobby then a passion with these two. And I truly believe that is why Paradox dropped them like a hot potato.

No sarcasm needed there. As the current system stands, I think it actually is (and WoW is pretty mediocre).

The Great Spirit knows that a wipe would accomplish nothing. The Tribe would re-take the server within a month and the remainder of the "Veteran" players would simply quit due to all the time they lost in their characters from a wipe. If you want to change the status quo then get some friends, grow some balls, and come @ us bro!
If not. Well.... Keep making these threads and see where that gets you. It is not the Tribe's fault that the majority of players were here to commit crimes and be criminals. The result of the low population is the lack of content updates. Once people ran out of content they started committing crimes. Once they committed crimes we summon killed them all. End of Story.
P.S. It is no longer Plymouth. The Tribe now owns all three servers. We are just choosing how to interact with the two lesser-servers a bit more carefully as they are the remainder of our play things.

OH YES... Criminal if you don't pay the Tribe a silver Tribute monthly... silver that newbs can only obtain buy RMT!... Buying from the cash shop is the only way to survive on Plymouth.
GO FOCK Yourself Chief. I might buy silver, but it's for my own benefit... not yours. OH- to the poster- JORB is TRIBE. Keep that bit in mind. That's the 'accepted' word on Jorb. Complain about Tribe... you are complaining about Jorb himself. Why else would population drop to <20/day on Plymouth... if not with Jorb's blessing. If Transfers go through... Salem is done as a game, period. End of Story.
That's why they need the server transfer... Tribe has run off everyone who might play on Plymouth with half a clue... now they need to drive off all the rest on other servers... Heaven Forbid they have to keep paying out of their own pocket to keep owning/controlling everything. They can't possibly encourage others to play on Plymouth so they have gone to dear Ruler- Jorb and begged him to make a change so they can infect the rest of the servers to get what brief satisfaction they can.
Bottom line- the problem isn't Tribe...it's the Developer Jorb... who needs to grow some focking balls and Tell Tribe to eat shat and love it... they made their own... why do the rest of us deserve it too?!
