Combat lock is well known, but pelters are spawning right next to churches now. Add those 2 together, and its possible to log in and be KO'd and locked right away.. Enough pockets, fix pelters please!

If i recall correctly, churches take ~24 hours to actually project their darkness-free aura. Was this during that time?
I simply have an alt or two in darkness for argo hunting, so I don't have any clue about church mechanics.
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

Church has been up for almost a year if not a bit over it.. A few weeks ago I found a pack well inside the church radius, but still on another map tile, this time it was 2 rooms away from the church. Sab is down right now in front of her townhouse.. Me laughing about it has so far not helped any... But still, lol. Oh and it is repaired too, I keep up on that pretty well

Ok it just despawned, I headed back to check and the church was at 100%... I "think" church radius shrinks as it takes damage, but even that's not a point here with it being that high... Also, perhaps related, right before that we had turkeys spawn in the autumnal Forest right beside us.. Which I thought was odd since I've never seen them outside the coniferous.

maybe there's a Salem earthquake coming?

Lately I have been finding bears in badlands a lot. At first I though maybe they where just wandering in but some of them have been quite deep in and on the wrong side of cliffs, unless they can climb now, so there maybe a bug in the creature spawning locations.

Now that you mention it I did see some beavers out in the woods the other day nowhere near water. Walked over thinking they were turkeys. Just have to keep my fingers crossed for now I guess, hopefully that gets fixed soon

Or maybe loftar is tinkering with code and it is intentional?

I'm loving the extra spawns. Whacked 4 bears last night and also three beavers deep in the woods.
