I was in Boston last night started to chat to some ppl, two ppl I ask hi how's it going what your name, one said *****.. and the other asked if I was a noob or an alt? um when is a noob not a noob?? what does that have to do with being nice and getting to know ppl? paranoid much? asking if I was a alt? who cares. well that's my worthless rant,

You clearly have no idea why the game is bad and people don't want to play it. Tip it has nothing to do with pvp

Help us ohhh mighty Lorb. Cheapen our stall rates please. All the top players are just agro farming for money now because it's easier than running a stall.

Wow Roanoke is ****. Even with a lower pop Jamestown can keep their stalls open and active.

Honestly the problem is that half the population have been playing for 6 months and don't need anything from the stalls except high purity stuff and the other half have been playing 2 weeks and can't afford anything.

Then recruit some players they will stick around for more than 2 weeks.

It's not how many folks are online, but how many items for sale.

Seriously; Roanoke today, 11/5/13, there are only 5 stalls with all the slots filled with something to sell...several have 1-2 slots if any with stuff that is buy-able.... (one stall has 2 items but no price...wtf!), given how few stalls are taken...that should have some effect on price of the stall... initiall purchase, etc.

I could buy silver, but I won't do it... frankly it's annoying. As a fairly established player starting on purity grind... market is helpful but not required... More folks will go else where giving me the chance to build up my defenses... and I'll get the stall after killing 50+ argopelters, cloth, hides, etc.

I guess it depends on what Devs are after. Do they want more players... more potential buyers of silver... or will they just leave it alone... and let folks spend a few months managing it without making an online purchase.

Even if the price were to drop to 3000 silver to get into a stall... would be incentive for me to buy silver... for $100US that's initial purchase plus a couple week's rent plus...

As it is now... I'll just wait until I can do it without spending a dime... another month... we're NOT talking about a robust player base... it's few and far between for new towns, new players... there's no urgency to speak of. None. Period.

in Salem as it is today... 30 days is no biggie.

I agree. The Jamestown stalls are pretty awesome. Many stall owners and even Darwoth is doing a great job too at selling useful things and restocking their stalls. This should be another incentive for playing on Jamestown!

The only thing I would add to this Stall/Market system would be an ingame publicity board. Something simple, like a publicity post where someone could post a templated message for something like 5-10s fior a week. Message would simply point out to what is for sale and how to contact you.

Basically, bring the current Trade thread of the forum in-game, but with limitation. Remember that it is really not everyone that uses the forum and if you want to increase social interaction, this is the best way to do it in the game.

This being said, I would be against Auction House.

Lastly, like somebody else said in previous post, I beleive that Stalls the way they are set up now, prevent further social interaction. At least, on the Staff we should be able to see the name of the vendor so if we want to place a specific order we could contact them.
