Black screen on launch

I downloaded the client on the site and when i try to launch it the screen is just black. It does not load up....it just stays black lol. Helppppppp

Damn! this fixes my issue, although connection is refused...-( custom client still gives gl2 error...Is there a way to run enders client same way?

The recommendation is to downgrade Java to u40. You can download from Java's archive page. You want your OS's version Java SE Runtime Environment 7 u40. Make sure after installing you manually turn off auto updates in the options otherwise it will install u45 again when you reboot.

I had this problem and tried your other link. I got the same thing again only this time just a white screen not a black one...
