Well, if they pass the Turing test, they deserve it :P

But seriously, what you need to look at is the reason why competitive players bot. In Haven it's because they have to to stay in the rat race, thanks to infinite character advancement. Salem is better in this regard, since there's a humor cap, but I reckon people will still bot it because getting to this cap takes a ridiculous amount of grind. So much so that it's not really practical for a top end character to be developed manually and then risked in combat. Similarly, getting close enough to the brazier cap takes a ***** of repetitive iron grind. I think the solution is to decrease time investment requirements. People will still bot, sure, but the botter's edge will be a lot less pronounced.

We would never be able to pump out these Titans without our precious lime- & farmbots !
We would never be able to make the amount of braziers we have without our mine, lime, coal & iron-smelting bot !

You should take a look at Haven sometimes if you want to see Salem's future.

You may or may not believe me, but you haven't seen much then. ;)

This appears to be some sort of a personal allusion if I'm not mistaken... The case here isn't of imposibility to reach something, but rather of the possibility of helping yourself even in the smallest way.
If it is possible to bot even one of the activities required to finish a task, then that is already one possibility too much. You dont need a full-time miner bot [what "Chief PeePooKaKa" seems to be arguing about on the previous page]. If you have a bot that will just chop down the trees for the coal clamps that you will later use to make iron, that already is iron-botting and an abuse just as well [if we assume here that bots arent welcome] and should not be accepted.

The irrelevance of a matter/problem doesnt make it disappear.

Also, if Salem was to ever get some serious publicity, botting [with the current mechanics/possibilities] is inevitable.

I still have to see a working one from someone else, like I said: apart from some leaked screenshots of mine & some other photo-shopped pictures, I have yet to see another working one.

You may scream all you want, but saying something like you do without giving ANY proof just makes you look really ridiculous !
Show me proof of a working bot (no autoclicker!) and you will earn your first grain of respect & reliability !

Yes, because those of us with working bots want it to be widely known :)
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

Ah yes, because we can actually see all the coding which makes it work.
