maybe the snakes are annoying at first, but they teach you one of the most important meta-skills in salem: be aware of your surroundings. If you're surprised by a snake, you'll also be surprised by a player in camo outfit.
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

No, they should just add female and baby deer(which both run away). Male deer are aggressive when defending territory like someone said, so that wouldn't be realistic at all. Also the female and baby deer should have less hit points and also contain less meat when butchered. Maybe make it possible to one shot them or at least knock them out with a sling shot so it would be possible to kill them.

Edit: maybe have them spawn in packs? Like a mother deer with some babies following it, or possibly even a male, and perhaps the baby deer should only give scraps of skin, which can be combined to create full skins(maybe 2-3 scraps for 1 full).

Actually I am all for two levels of Deer, male and females, the females would be harder than currently as they would run away more, and the bucks would have a stronger attack and be more rare but they would give antlers which are an inspirational similar to stringy sinew.

On the subject of a sneak movement, I would also be for this, I like anything that changes the current move options, I don't see why you can see lots of foragbles when running, or why you can see more foragables when moving faster at all.

I'd like to see you knock out a deer IRL with a sling-shot... You can hit those ***** with your car and they'll usually get up and run away. (Unless it's a buck, then it'll get up and kick your ass.)

I like the idea of adding genders and slight hit point changes amongst the same species of animals.
