[Plymouth] Experienced Player Seeking Village

Postby Ikpeip » Sun Dec 09, 2012 9:51 am

Greetings,

I'm seeking a village to join. I've been playing solo for a while now (the two villagemates I played with quit a couple months back), and spend most of my time online either turning over fields or trading, and I have not been able to keep up mass production of new content (planed/oiled boards and replantable trees). To avoid falling behind, I'm aiming to join a larger group so I don't necessarily need to be a jack of all trades to keep up. Full disclosure - my playstyle has been fairly care-bearish so far, and I've only used black skills to get revenge on a fellow who killed some neighbors. I'd like to learn more about the PvP aspects of Salem, but don't have a desire to do aggressive raiding. I envision my role in a village consisting of supplementing existing farming efforts, trading if needed (and not trading, when it's not needed), and assisting with the day-to-day "chores")

My qualifications:
-Veteran trader, both in selling goods produced in-house, and turning a profit on the resale of goods. Possess monetary assets and investments useful to a village of any size.
-Experienced farmer. Able to manage multiple purities and tiers of crops, and possess a bank of seeds. Have tiered some elements to 100% from scratch.
-Knowledgeable in all the basic game elements (cooking for purity, flattening land/breaking cliffs, prospecting/mining, hunting all types of game, tracking scents, darkness exploration, etc.)
-Strong work ethic (won't shirk when it's my turn to rebuild the coal clamps of fetch the lime)
-Long time player, won't burn out after a couple weeks of play

My limitations:
-Limited PvP experience. Have never been raided personally. Tracked down a raider who hit newbie neighbors, but killed him off-line.
-Full time job - Salem play time limited to ~4 hours/day on weekdays, maximum.

If you think I might be a good fit for your village, and vice/versa, please send a PM with a quick description of your village and why you're interested (please do not include a location until we've spoken further).

Faithfully,

-Paymaster Paul
