If I were developing a new village, I probably wouldn't answer either of these publicly. It's too much of a security risk. The only ones asking would be likely wanting to raid me.

Seriously?! The community is more paranoid then i thought then. Come on now, how can we go to a place we don't know where it is. And assuming we can, who can guarantee it won't be sooo rough that you can't even build a LEANTO?

Use the party system and walk or spawn there.

If you had been accepted into my village, I would have given you explicit directions for getting there. That's why I used the term "publicly". (And if it's that rough, maybe there's a reason it was picked. Nothing two minutes of digging can't fix.)

Yes, you should be that paranoid. You don't go to a LARP party without friends to watch your back. You shouldn't walk into open world game where people can break anything and kill you expecting anything less. This is a small population right now in a very large map. Let it double just once and you'll see the number of requests for rangers go up 100 times the current level in a week.

I didn't mean for this to turn into a whole discussion. My intention was to provide a bit of a warning to the OP and the first person responding about these sorts of things:

Don't hand out that information or you might find yourself raided;

Don't ask or you might get labelled a raider and have any chance of being looked at thrown out.
