I just want to stay alive / team up / be in a town

Hi all,
I'm really new in this game, i get a beta key this evening.
So I spawned in this amazing game and I'm a little lost.
Does anyone want to team up to stay alive / build something ?
Does anyone have a village and need one more man to build it bigger ?
Does anyone is as lost as me ? ^^

I got Mumble and TS3
I'm french but english is not a problem.
And of course I'm on Paris/Bruxelles time (GMt+ .. 1 or 2 , something like that ^^)

I live in Jamestown, I'm Paddy Valdyr. My crew is called House Valdyr. We have a sizable camp already built with buildings/storage and food/materials. We're building a town a little later once we have enough people for it to be worth the silver.
