Ok so I am about to buy a stall hopefully soon, and I would like to stock it with stuff people will buy.

So my question is what is it that you would like to see available in a stall?
Also a what price would you buy it for?

Please be realistic with answers, no 1s 100% purity humus/worms

Thanks
Matt

2s 100% purity humus/worms? :D

I like to make/find my own stuff, it's a crafting MMO after all.
Some things i would have bought early on, when i couldn't make them yet, though are a backpack and a sled if they had been decently priced.
150-200s for a backpack is just too steep for a noob., tried to get one for 110 but no sellers so i did without.
I also bought nails from stalls before i had a smelter.
Cheap tools will probably sell well.
As will cheap, reliable, gluttony food.
That's about all i would buy if i couldn't yet make it myself i guess.
Hope this helps.

:x lol j/k

That does help, trading and stalls have really taken a hit from the patches.
I know that high % food and seeds went fast pre patch but there is no industry that is geared towards buying from stall really. All the high end crafting items/materials cannot be sold to those who cannot make it because its to expensive and simple stuff cannot be sold to higher chars because they can just make it themselves.

so, charge less, sell more and help out people in the process. ;)
The problem with this is, like on Plymouth, that others buy your stuff, put it in their stalls and up the price.
Helping people is not very common in Salem it seems.

Well that is a sound theory, just push more volume but there has to be an influx in people for that to succeed.

They don't want to help either because they didn't get helped when they were new or they don't want to make it cheap for rival towns

Cheap nails (10-15s), boards (8s) (a few(4 of each) oiled(12s) & planed(10s)), few cheap iron bars 80s.
All kinds of low cooked food ( noobs need low food to get biles up to a survivable level (shrooms on stick (7s), Autumn Delight (9s), Lobster mushrooms (high purity)(7s), any Witchhats (6s)- great for keeping fed, not everyone is near woodland).
But you ought to reserve a few places for higher crafted items that rich(not too rich as they can make everything) people would be interested in say canoe, sled.

Some cheap inspirationals is always good. Seeds that are a bit cheaper than the NPC stall is also wise.

Definitely seeds, like Dageir said. Those will only be bought by starting players and probably only once per, though. Also, the usual bile foods like mushroom pies, pumpkins pies, cabbage crumbs and cakes sell well.
