I'd suggest limiting first trades with a non-trade thread player to a silver limit that you're prepared to lose. Make sure you have a forum account attached (don't take in game PMs alone) and scream to the high heavens if they steal from you. It'll ensure they never trade again on that forum account.

20 silver for adventurer boots littered in all of boston's trade containers and you could just spawn an alt, put in a container and warp with main if really wanted? o_O

Just listed them in case anyone couldn't be bothered spawning an alt or whatever. I don't expect many if any of them to be requested but I like to leave the option open just in case. Priced the same as things that require the same amount of leather.
