Yes. I counted down until I started. Should he had made it to the end prior to me reaching the count-down then I would have let him live and given him all the benefits of the Treaty.

My compliments on the maze, too bad the ending was the same old noob killing.
There have been some who have "gotten away," but these tend not to get posted for two reasons - they're not as entertaining, and survivors often become TPs, giving an incentive to preserve their anonymity.
As for the noob killing aspect, surely you appreciate it's a bit trickier to cage in a paranoid veteran.
