I wouldn't have used the word "Person". Does a deity really share the same noun as you and I? The Great Spirit is an idea, a dream, a last frontier for the freedom in gaming we have all dreamed about since we first turned on our Atarii. Most dreams remain in the minds of the people who share them but in this case the dream is so glorious that it occasionally manifests itself in the form of an avatar you and I can recognize. To think that us mere mortal Salemites could define The Great Spirit with our trivial understanding of life itself would be as silly as the idea of an ant explaining the theory of relativity.
