"**** happens", right? But here's how it went down.

I decide to log in and check on my crops and such, some of them should have been harvestable.

I log in, there are four people standing in my claim, three naked and one clothed. The three naked people are destroying my house, and the clothed guy runs up to start trying to attack me, I move out of the way a few times and ask why they're destroying my things, I get no answer.

My house gets destroyed, all the naked people log out and the clothed guy keeps chasing me until he finally corners me, one shots me, then murders me.

Now, I'd been on that character for 2 weeks straight, 12~ hours a day (Though a lot of that spent just AFK studying things and cooking/smelting) so I was pretty pissed that I Just lost all my progress over bad timing.

So, a few days go by, and I decide to inherit my claim and check the damage.

NOTHING IS MISSING BESIDES MY METAL AND LEATHER.

My settlement was raided, I was killed and lost weeks of progress, over FOUR BARS OF IRON AND EIGHT LEATHER. Something people with skills and stats as high as theirs could have HUNDREDS of. I'm actually pissed off, because they only took about 1% of what I had on my claim. Things I could have EASILY gotten back, but skills and stats? They take FOREVER to get back if I don't have a group of people who can get me inspirationals and food for stats.

Just, *****. I am sighing the sigh of a thousand sighs right now at how pointless that murder was. I had nothing of value on me besides a saber and a sled, which, as I've already pointed out, I'm sure they have hundreds of.

Naked humor monsters? Methinks all that 27452234923498 bla bla pure food came in handy for some people >.>

Instead of storing the metal, how about you make it all into braziers next time. If you want to have some metal for backup, fill up an alt inventory with metal.

No, I couldn't afford to cover every single spot with my claim, but they were standing on it while destroying my house, the thing is there were enough of them that the braziers probably weren't a problem at all. They never even tried to attack the braziers, from what I can tell, they're full health. As far as I know, there were more than 3 naked people to start, I logged in only after they were past my walls and my house was nearly destroyed. Which is why I call it bad timing, if I'd logged in a minute later they'd have all been gone.

Edit: To the comment about using all the metal for braziers.

I only had 4 bars, and I was planning to use it for other things. To the comment about alts. I don't want to have to abuse alts in order to do anything in this game. ON THE COMMENT ABOUT ALTS AGAIN: I don't care about the metal lost, I could have gotten that back 10 fold without any problems. The metal wasn't such a big deal that it was worth killing me over, is the thing.

Ok then, run/teleport/logout next time instead of standing there full of rage and losing your only character. You had to learn the hard way I guess.
