I have to say, all this talk about how dangerous it is outside Boston seems to be a bit overblown. I have an alt that I am trying to get rid of, but no matter how much time I spend outside Boston wandering around other players, no one has made a move to whack me.

Can it be that people are nicer than we think they are? That's rather inconvenient for me LOL

No, you get the wrong impression. Thing is the "hard core" folks have taken a break while the purity updates get sorted.

Clearly if humour monsters even bother to kill you they'll leave scents behind. And with the scents people can track to them and force summon them. Which will end up the humour monsters being killed aswell.

No one is risking their lives for some new alt. Tried. No one bothered.

They tend to live far away in darkness with 5000 braziers around them and multiple vaults.
