Hey everyone. I'm a fairly new character, named Vincent Van Gogh in Jamestown. None of my bodily fluids are above 15 yet, none of my skills are higher than 22.

Despite that, I managed to carve out a nice little place for myself in the perfect location, and built a pilgrims hovel and a large fenced in area. I knew I wasn't safe, but I didn't realize how quickly disaster might strike. I'd be more than willing to get revenge / justice myself, but I lack the skills to do so. I've tracked him to his new claim which is exceptionally close to mine, and I fear that If I do not act proactively I won't live long enough to enact justice myself.

He stole 2 boxes of skins, 1 box full of witches hats, and 1 box full of red mushrooms, and 1 box half full of singing logs and half full of maple leaves (the studying kind) I don't know what all of this means but I have 75 charges left of tracking (which i no longer need since i know where his base is), and I also picked up an item called "Evidence of Larceny".

His base is simply a claim-stone claiming the area and a Pilgrims hovel, with lots of full-boxes in the front yard which I suspect to be full of the items I previously mentioned.

Whoever helps me destroy everything he owns can have all of the loot and a (small) bounty in silver, or work, or help, or anything you require. I can provide food or whatever we need to get the job done. I don't need to gain anything from this except for the peace of mind knowing that he'll more than likely back off.

I just want to live peacefully but am being forced to take action because of larceny and destruction against my persons and property.

That being said, this could be a good opportunity for you to rise up. Fueled by the devastation of having lost your 'shrooms, logs, and leaves (the fact that you had stock-piled inspirationals like that makes me very, very upset), you can now become a vengeance-filled avatar of justice. Fortify yourself and build up those seed purities! Learn ALL of the skills. Gluttony until you're fit to burst. Then, after you have about 250 humours, lay waste to the ne'erdowells who lurk in the Lumberwoods surrounding the fair land of Jamestown.

Someone could help you, of course. But that person may just as likely gather up the claim goods from your new-found enemy and then turn on you. Instead, you should use this event to become the greater good you seek. Then you can gather like-minded individuals to your cause. Build a town. Answer the call for assistance where-ever it is needed. Stand tall and sneer as criminals are brought to a swift end at your hand. People will chant your name in the streets! Women will swoon at your righteous, steady gaze. Characters will be named after you. Fanfiction will be written. You will be immortalized forever in the minds of people from all over the world.

You can be the change, Necropotency/Vincent Van Gogh. You can make a difference.

I was only stockpiling those singing logs so that I could level up my Perennial Philosphy. It's the lowest of all of my skills and I like to do most of my levelling at once to save on food / inventory space while I'm trying to get other work done.

I actually wasn't going to set up a camp even. I tried looking for friendly neighbors / towns in Jamestown but no one answered my call. It wouldn't be too much of a hassle for me to simply pick up and leave, set up camp somewhere else, and start building my stats a little higher. I'd like to find a neighbor first but it's not a necessity.

Only thing I'd really regret is all of the time spent digging / evening out my beautiful land! Oh, and collecting rocks to pave the bastard!

Hard to tell what I'll do. If anyone knows of an extremely active town / person who is looking for a friendly neighbor, please let me know I reckon. Until then I'll just roam and work on skills ^_^.
