Well i think i did everything properly. Braziers, brick walls, In the middle of nowhere never seen a soul other than my closest neighbors. Been playing a couple months, enjoying the crafting, had a large settlement, carried every brick. Enjoyed satisfaction of the work well done for sure. Never stole, met my closest neighbors, all three were good people for sure. Was doing some gathering close to my village prepping for my weekend, was looking forward to playing this weekend, the wallpaper idea looked interesting, great idea BTW. Two kids run up and 2 hit me. I can understand looting, even raids, but to lose all your skills, character and hard work is just to much for this type of game play. Even if I were to start anew it would take a couple more months to even begin to be able to use my homestead again. Not to mention these kids are grievers for sure, and it would just be one death after another from this point on.

Great game on the crafting end. Just not my game. Till then, good luck.

sounds like it took you "months" to achieve what takes most folks 1 - 2 days.

I've yet to see anyone who is truely new to this game to do any of that in 1-2 days, it can take 30 minutes just to find that first smooth stone, let alone get all the skills needed for walls, braziers, a mine and smelters.

Sorry to see you go man, sounds like you enjoyed the time you did have here.

Fixed. Most of us do take longer, different degrees of longer, but longer nonetheless.

That said, sadly that's the whole aspect of this game, but it is much easier the second, third, fourth..... time around because you know what you are doing.

you said you made friends with your neighbors, if they were actually your friends they'd be feeding you food and inspirationals to get you back on your feet.

As someone who just started and had to learn everything from scratch, I can say it takes months to get to the point of having a modest base. I have a very small claim and humors in the 50s, and low percent crops, and I've worked pretty hard to get that far.

If I had to start all over, I'd probably cut that time in half because now I know how to level my proficiencies and now I understand farming and gluttony and purity, which are pretty complicated things to learn in the beginning when there are just so many other things to figure out.

And this kinda thing is why, when I see someone else out in the wilderness, I run away as fast as I can and I always try to remember to keep an eye on the minimap so I will see them coming.

I really hope you don't quit. Think of all you've learned, it'll be much quicker the second time around.

If you got 2shotted by some dudes after a few months of playing, well then, thats your own fault. More farming/cooking/eating, and less of everything else. lol.
