So I hear people like to scam in town..

It's come to my attention that some ******* is trying to scam people in Plymouth by using my name and trading rep and then ripping people off. He is advertising in town and then using some variation of "You can trust me, I'm Hustlinguistics."

Well, he's not. I am. Never will I ever advertise to buy or sell *anything* in town. All trades I have done since October have been through forum or IRC pm. If you come across someone in Boston claiming to be Hustlinguistics and trying to scam anyone, I'm paying for screenshot evidence and any information leading to their location. At the very least, don't get fooled by him.

I've also been hearing about other traders being impersonated, always make SURE the random ass alt you just agreed on a trade with is in fact, the trader they say they are. PMs in IRC or on the forums only take a moment and can save you hours of regrinding silver or items.

(noticed I didn't put the reward amount, let's start at 1k and half the *****'s earthly possessions if you give me proof and info leading to their place.)

A note to all traders and buyers: Only PM forum accounts for trades, even IRC can be risky if your trader hasn't registered their nickname or someone chooses a similar name. I'd suggest making some sort of code word for the trade through PMs (change it every time you trade). Establish where to meet for the trade, and what your characters will be wearing before trading and then ask for the code word discussed through your PMs. This is likely the best way of trading at the moment as you cannot trust ingame names at all.

Someone has been running around Boston (Roanoke) saying that I am a scammer. I have never mistreated anyone, and never had a bad transaction. i dont know why someone would be saying this, but I hope to find out.

Good point about IRC names, mine's registered so I didn't even think about that. Forum PM's would indeed be best.

Greg has scammed since the start of Plymouth, he never died. This very much sounds like his work.

Didn't he quit or something about no one ever giving a ***** about him?

I thought Onery was a scammer too since I almost got scammed by someone claiming your name. I'm glad to find out that was not the case.
