hey guys
i wonder if anyone can help me chase some raiders away, i already got "convinced" to move twice, and now my base keep getting spoiled by a couple of guys
i even lost my toon because i tried to talk to them
so now im here hoping for some kind souls to help me stomp those bastards so i can get back to building my base

btw no indians please, i dont want to pay "protection" too

Honestly, if you live near these people who want you to move and they repeatedly come back, they aren't going to go away. It might be best just to move. Living in a desolate area is a pretty good idea.

Server name would be usefull in such a case

JinxDevona; maybe i wasent entirely clear, twice ive tried to setup in other areas, where i got "asked" by the locals to find a new spot, now i finally found a decent spot without people too close,
and these bastards show up
anyway with the new update, i could maybe use someone to stand guard while i finish my wall, i dont think(hope) they want to bother with a proper siege,

It is very strange for the same group to keep finding you. How far did you move from where you were originally? Did you leave criminal scents that they are following to your homestead?

ah jinx you misunderstand me, the first and second tries i got dumped in the wilderness, except there were people living close by already, and they didnt want new Neighbors.
Now its just some dudes having my fun, when i tried talking to em they just killed me, so now i want some kind of revenge, and as im too much a noob to fight my own battles, here i am

With the new mechanic, it looks like you can just toss up a makeshift fence really quick and then knock it down as your build stone in it's place. They won't be able to get in without a delay of a whole day. I guess they could camp you then so you can't leave your base to get stone, but they have to be really serious about it at that point.

Ah, I see. Well, sometimes it takes many tries before finding a great quiet place to live. You could use the advice of the above poster to keep yourself safer in the meantime. They may get bored and leave you alone or see you staying as challenging them and grief you more in the future. If they KOd or killed you, you should add that in you original post and if they left scents. Some may help you if you offer a reward. Some may take their reward from those they go after for you. So you want someone, at no cost, to protect you while you build a wall around a new base, risking themselves in the immediate sense and also with the potential of leaving scents behind on your behalf? Plymouth has no more rangers. And even if it did, rangers charge silver due to the risk and time to do the job. Not to mention, as mentioned, if the individual isn't incredibly active on the forum, giving you the chance to perform a background check, they're just as likely to defend you as to kill you.

The Tribe is notorious for being lethally strict in upholding the Treaty, but once payment is made, not only would they more than likely be happy to protect you while you build, but to also exact revenge on your behalf and insure your new property is free from harassment.

But good luck with your search I hope you can get your wall up with more haste this time around.
