Ah, explains everything. MM is not bad, only if you don't pay. Makes perfect sense. I'd rather lose everything then pay people who bully others and then act as if they are wonderful protectors of the land. MM, so if you asked me for a payment, and I did not pay, and you killed me.... who were you protecting? I harm no one and no one needs protecting from me. Not even. We only killed criminal scum. If someone was raided they had their base still and walls repaired. We had to raid to test out stuff. Alot of people we raided ended up joining or being friends with us and continue to do so.

No, you don't have to raid to test stuff. You can easily create an alt with a claim to test the mechanics with your main. While the MM propaganda machine is huge, you have one running as well but on a smaller scale.

Oh please, that's just far fetched. Personally, I'd rather GH find me than MM. I'd have a better chance of surviving with GH and might even come out of it with a friend.
