AFTER the event you are referencing. AFTER JC was already dead. All information disseminated by Jorb beforehand contained no implications whatsoever that the tactic was not a legit one.

He messaged jorb before he even went inside the walls to bash the idol, and since you can't bash when you're dead.. I guess you're wrong.

You also don't ask Jorb for a revive when you're alive. Please if you have logs with Jorb declaring it an unintended consequence beforehand then post a screen.

Go ahead and scroll it up so we can see when the convo started. We see where he told him he had died (after the conversation was started btw, proving my point for me. so kind), but not when it began originally.

So you've shifted it from it being about the world knowing it was an unintended consequence to when the convo started? Did you forget your original point or are we discussing a different point?

I'm still stuck on the whole you accusing Tribe of abusing a known bug/unintended consequence. If you want to argue something entirely irrelevant to that... Well I don't see the point.

I just said he messaged him about the "unintended consequence", commonly known as a bug, before he died and you posted a convo screen, changing the subject. So I answered. And the moment it was known as an "unintended consequence", and they continued to use it, they officially were abusing a mechanic. It really doesn't get much simpler than that.

I can guarantee you if they were sieged, couldn't break the waste claim (because of it being physically IMPOSSIBLE to reach), and were continued to be sieged after the mechanic was brought to light as not functioning properly, the amount of "GH/REBELS BAGOUSE AGAIN OMG" would be deafening.

So you have a convo that shows Jorb declaring it an unintended consequence before JC died? Go ahead and post that then we can figure out when Tribe was actually informed as well and if that was before JC died. From my perspective it seems like Jorb describes it as unintentional after JC gets himself killed. The IRC and this is all I have to go on, so if you have more, post it.

I don't recall ever saying I had such a thing, but coles very well may, since he was messaging him for a few minutes before even entering the gate into the waste claim area after finding out the fence couldn't be broken. I'm not in the business of saving pm's and **** to post online later, btw, so you'd be hard-pressed to get me to post his pm's to jorb even had I seen them.

i am the only guy in the history of the game to die from drowning directly after the swimming patch stating that you could not do so and nobody ressed me, didnt get ressed when vigilance used the the leanto sploit to jump my walls and break my leanto to a few days before it was fixed either. as such i sure don't see any reason colesie should get one for ***** into the middle of a hostile claims gates and getting himself locked in

as an aside coleslaw over here is so butthurt right now it is actually annoying to read.

"lets move threads and replies to various other boards where nobody will read them"

"i totally knew i was going to get locked in like a retard and killed man, i just did it anyway because i throw away my best characters and **** for the hell of it"

"i even dont care i have numerous combat characters, but meanwhile i am begging jorb for a res, even at half humors"

and many variations thereof, you are just embarassing yourself at this point imo

Ignorance is not an excuse. A real beta tester would've PM-d Jorb about the plan before enacting it.

That happened according to the Paymaster last night in IRC.

The only reason I see for a rez is in the case of account stealing, everything else is permadead forever to me. I'll take a dead toon to a bug, because it's beta and who cares. Thankfully, nobody that I know of has had their **** stolen and wiped though, so there shouldn't be any rez's imo.
