Yes plz. I had 2 guys swearing on irc that their clients are capped at 50. So if you can't get moar it would be good to know. ;)

As for graphic cards: it seems that salem can perform badly even on not so bad gfx cards. Example could be coles with his 4850. He got ~10-15fps and serious stuttering(check that church vid he posted) in centre of village. While I on my old 3850(rip) had better fps than him :P

PS. Saw pics now. Good to know.

Could it be that older cards, with older drivers, are better optimized for the version of OpenGL used? How many games support OpenGL to begin with? How many games from the last 3-5 years use a version older than 2.x? Of course, there's a point where raw number crunching will outperform driver optimization. There's also the possibility that the cards aren't supporting OpenGL fully and so a good portion of it is using CPU cycles instead of GPU (and would be a possible explanation of why some people have such intense CPU usage).

I just replaced and ATI Radeon 4650 with an ATI Radeon 6770. Neither of them had the least bit of stuttering, the only issues I've run into is the Enders client runs out of memory error (which could, for all I know, be a Vanilla Salem issue. I just can't bring myself to play with the default client long enough to find out).

Most of the people running into stuttering issues are using the shadows, though - and I have them turned off because they are pretty ugly.

I always have shadows & AA on, no issues, even after playing hours,

Anyway on topic again,

Gallow HillS is no more !!!

Our trusty Spy reported that the refugees of Gallows have now separated and spread out. Much like the gazelle on the Safari they feel that if they all dart in different directions that the Lion PeePooKaKa will be unable to feast upon them all. Unfortunately, they are mistaken.

It is just a matter of time Gallows. Simply a matter of time.
