Nothing, I have no intentions of doing anything on Jamestown, but theres a chance I might get caught in one of Darowths traps. That would be amusing :D but only a minor set back for I have 4 or 5 alts close to my biles.

I never said anything about that ;) .

And yes, Darwoth the schemer earns a lot of respect in my book. Ebonyheart was a very fortified town he single-handedly destroyed... By scheming ¦]
The Mayor of that town was a schemer himself and he got outsmarted.

P.S. My apologies for the off-topic Chief.

If you like to see ghosts, maybe.

This Russian player lived peacefully for many months, but just got betrayed by a ***** noob from an village 10 meters west from him, he even helped him with building their little town.

Salem is just an treachery game.

Good morning,

Judaism wrote:This Russian player lived peacefully for many months, but...

The Russian in question, by his own admission, provided help to the Time Paradox Russians in the form of material aid, labor, and moral support. He may not have been a warrior, but he was actively assisting an aggressive and hostile Russian faction against the Tribe. He certainly had it coming.

All that being considered, he was still giving at least two options to pay the Treaty and avoid the unpleasantness. The first time was during initial contact, about three weeks ago. The second time was last night, immediately before the hostilities began (of course, the price of peace rises if we've already had to lay and defend a Waste Claim).

Hiding as a tactic works great - right up until it doesn't. Salemites are free to grow and develop bases and be involved in politics (or not) as they wish. However, everything comes with risk, and consequences.

Faithfully,

Ok I've been getting quite a few PM's about this and figured I should just clarify a few of the more common questions:

#1: Yes, once you adopt your Russian it essentially becomes your "property". What you do with it from there in terms of manual labor around your base is acceptable.

#2: Yes, you can mandate that your Russian "dress up" in any form of in-game clothing that you made in your base and play dress-up with your Russian as much as you like.

#3: No, you may not do the same with RL clothing. If you choose to take your relationship with your Russian further that is fine. However, the Tribe will not enforce what your Russian wears in RL and if your Russian does or does not send you photos of it.

I hope that clears up the more common concerns with the program.

Good job making another player loose it all and perhaps quit playing.

So... this is called R.A.P.E.D.? Does anyone else take offense at this or is it just me?

Is this where it becomes acceptable to call you a care-bear ****** and to STFU?

How does that saying go? "You made your bed..."

(not directed AT you Magic, just a commentary on the nature of the Salem forums)

It would be ironic if the person who suggested raping livestock took offense to a harmless acronym.
