Horses

How do they work? Will the horse disappear as soon as I dismount it? Or there is a limited amount of time?

They will run around if you dismount them.
Anyone else is able to take your horse then.
As far as I know they don't despawn, unless the maptile is unloaded, or the server restarts.

What do you mean with "the maptile is unloaded"? Sorry but I'm new.

Can you remount them when they are running around?
Can you pick up items from the map while mounted?
