Judging from the logs, it does appear as if he was indeed hacked, by SpanDexSteve guessing passwords. The password was guessed in very few tries, however, so I'm guessing at either an extremely poor password, or out-of-band knowledge of the password. I can't find any obvious connections between SpanDexSteve and any other accounts.

Either way, I'll just leave this here for the new administrators to deal with as they wish. :)
