How does one fight snakes

Could you please share your experience on how exactly do you fight snakes without getting bitten?

before I could 1 hit them I used 4 tricks in this order:

1. avoid them
2. run through a field of bunnies, the bunnies will attack the snake, and if lucky the snake will attack the bunnies. Best is to run into water after the bunnies start attacking the snake.
3. run into water, climb up/down a cliff or go through a gate and close the gate. Subsequently use stomp from the other side of your safe barrier until he dies.
4. fight them like a cricket/bunny and eat a potion afterwards, i think with about 10 YB I could sling/stomp/uppercut combo to kill them without getting hit.

After I could 1-hit them, I prefer bullrush. Because it is the easiest skill to time and looks funny.
Wait until the snake is aggrod or aggro with a sling and then when it comes at you, bullrush it. I dont know what YB is needed to kill snakes in 1 bullrush, I guess are 20-25, also depends on if you hitted it first with a sling.

aside from the tips mentioned above, you could use a well timed Stomp (either after the snake aggroed you or after you shoot your sling) in order to stun the snake and hit it with an Uppercut

I suggest you practice this method on bunnies or crickets first.

Run then wait for the snake to come straight at you and stomp as soon as the it's nearby so it'll get stunned. Wait a couple of seconds after first stomp and profit infinite stun if done right.

You can either aggro a snake with a slingshot or by being in the proximity for a while.
Once the snake follows you, you should either stomp-uppercut it or thrust, depending on your yellow bile.
If you use a client, that shows movement paths, you may skip the first part and just position yourself on the way of the snake with a well-timed stomp (or thrust).

As was suggested above, practice combat on rabbits and crickets first. Imagine they were a snake and try to not let them hit you even once.
