Inspiration regen only 2 pts/5 secs

Hello Salem,

I've been frustrated by the realization that most of the time, though not always, my inspiration points only regenerate 2-3 points per 5 second tick.

I have 460,000 Inspiration points @ 1.61 pts/sec regen. Yesterday points were regenerating at 9-10/tick (5 secs) ONE time I looked at it. Every other time I checked (various log ins/outs, etc) inspiration points were only regenerating at ~2 points/tick. And again today, only 2 points/tick.

Did I do something wrong, or am I unaware of some contributing factor? Thanks!

I have noticed this too some time ago. I just think that inspiration regen is slower if you have a lot of it.

Ah, I think it must have been you who mentioned it in a thread some time ago. I tried to find your comment, but I was unsuccessful in search. It was your comment that got me started looking. At the time you mentioned it everything seemed to be working as expected for me.

Well, I just studied a bit, and now the regen is 9-10 points per tick...I'll report back when I notice it slow down again. Thanks

I do eat unboiled toadstools frequently, but I've seen both the expected results and the unexpected results (thread title)regardless of shroom poisoning or gluttony debuff. Typically, I log in to find my regen is 2pts/sec. As soon as I study something and raise proficiency or gain skill, the regen is as expected.

Those are my observations. I would love to understand why this happens. Thanks!

Yep i've noticed the same thing.
If i haven't been studying etc, my ticks are very low. Then i study some stuff, and i get heaps more per tick. It doesn't seem related to how much inspiration i have left either.
Wtf.
