Do worms eat diagonally or just up down left right?

I think there is the odd thing they wont eat, dont know what though, (maybe cabbage heads or leaves) but they eat pretty much any plant you can forage afaik.

the only farmable produce they eat is pumpkin flesh. They won't eat cabbage leaves or whole pumpkins or anything like that (you can test with a recipe that uses "any plant")
