when i thray to build house in trees i cant so do i need to tree to take them down or ? or do i need when thray to build house to be on my land ? and hou much space i need around house so i can build it and i have level earth it is flat.

dig and drop dirt so the base is covered by a layer of dirt, that should let you build. (the leaves/biome will grow back under the house, leaving it invisible to the minimap)
