Is this correct? (unlikely)
To raise purity of crops and plants, I need to;
Find decent purity water, use it to make clay, use clay as well as high purity lime and granite to make gardening pots to plant trees, to make planks to make compost bins, to fill with worms that have been fed with high purity plants to make higher purity compost to use on fields for better food and to use to make next generation trees to make better compost bins? deep breath

1) Alchemy the clay. If you can find enough purity lime / granite, alchemy those as well. Note that it seems like granite purity has a larger effect on the end result than lime.
2) Craft planting pot.
3) Achemy the unbaked pot, since crafting has reset the chymical instability.
4) Bang your head against the wall cause all your pots exploded
5) Repeat. It is advisable to vary banging your head against the wall, with pulling out your hair, or punching a cute puppy.

They do. I think it takes about a week.

I've had it take over a month. I think it depends on number of map loads. Like, if you log on and hang around your base all day, that's one loading. If you leave to forage and are gone for 15-20 minutes, it unloads and loads again when you return.
So, make your cuttings grow back by visiting Boston for a bit or going on long trips as often as you can.

Relevant regarding alchemy of humus:
- Code: Select all
loftar Nah, the function is non-linear, sluggo.
loftar It gives greater weight to the more unpure of the worms and the compost itself.

You can't. You can get a few percent, but no more. This is why everyone agrees that purity and alchemy need work, but despite numerous suggestions, the devs haven't found a solution they want to implement yet.
