Cant Butcher Bear?

I just found a bear which fell off a truck . The problem is.. i cant butcher it (the skin was taken already). theres not even the option to butcher it when rightclicking..tried to relog and called a mate.. he isnt able to butcher it aswel.. any solutions?

Earlier, there was a bug which caused animal corpses to remain instead of dissolving into bones when the brain was removed. Maybe this is an old bear from before the bug was fixed. Or perhaps the bug isn't quite fixed yet?
