Can't seem to figure out how to run it on my new PC, is it even compatible?

Make sure you have Java installed on your new computer. After that, you will need to read up on setting up Java so that Salem will run here: viewtopic.php?f=10&t=8388

Otherwise, it runs just fine with Win 8.x.

If it's a new PC, you should also make sure you're video drivers are up to date. Many new PCs ship with "factory" drivers or drivers many months out of date and they may not work properly.

This is help, not City upon a Hill. Keep the trolling out, please. There's not a single reason a person should downgrade if the OS has come pre-installed on a computer. We're not talking Vista or ME here. (if you have a reason to be running Win7 or another OS, this consideration would have been made when ordering or building the system.)
