Inspiration won`t study because of low black bile.

Hi everyone.
The thing is: I have catched a number of tumbleweeds and studied them successfully with my newbie character (all stats on the point of 5).
Now when I try to study another tumbleweed it says that my black bile is too low. What is the reason for this and what to do?
Should I forget about tumbleweeds before I upgrade my stats (black bile in that case)? Or should I just wait? Or should I reset some counter by studying other inspirations?
Thank you.
P.S. I have played in the closed beta, but that was a long time ago. Is there a comprehensive guide on new inspiration study system?

Or you could eat some food -
I suspect you have raised stats enough that you now need more than 5 bb to fully study a tumbleweed. Raise your biles!!!

I have tried eating food, which surely does raise the biles to full 5.0/5.0/5.0 but the inspiration still won`t study. Well, back to the drawing board, I mean campfire.
Right, thanks. It appears that now the biles affect the studying process.

You need to raise your bbile in gluttony mode, the inspirational you want to study consumes more black bile than your maximum.

When your skills were lower, you used less bb to study the insipirational. Now you raised your skills, you need higher humors too.

yup, this could be the case; mushroom poison reduces your biles which in turn reduces your inspiration regeneration rate.

Well, after raising the Bile up to 6 it started working again. It appears that now the Humours affect the study process. BTW is there a comprehensive guide on how to calculate the effect of foodstuffs on humours while doing gluttony? I mean are there wiki articles with formulas like in HnH? Ender`s client seems to calcualte that intermally, but it would be nice to know in advance.

Every item has natural purity. Not all tumbleweeds will take the same amount of black bile to study, the ones with higher purities will require more.

As of yet, no, not with the new system. There's been some pretty good math done on the old system, but I haven't seen any indications if it is still the same numbers displayed in a more straightforward manner, numbers have been modified, or if the math is significantly different. For the old system, see this thread:
viewtopic.php?f=5&t=7410Since the requirement of having X BB to study an item is new, the formula for how much is required hasn't yet been discovered. I don't know if anyone is working on it or not.
