Having trouble with Fullscreen mode.

Hey there,
Whenever I type in :fs 1.. My screen just turns straight black, and nothing happens, I tried setting my default resolution (1600x900) with :fsmode 1600 900,
but that didn't help either.
Does anyone have any solutions or explanations? Please let me know.

It seems like this is a known problem without a solution. There are a couple threads on this topic, but loftar gets the last word in this one:

Well Champie, thanks for the reply.
I wish this was fixed, the text on the screen is just so small, it makes me not want to play.

Have you tried one of the mods, such as Ender's or Latikai? You can change the text size in them.
