Hi all,
I am attempting to wash my milkweed fibres and am suddenly having a lot of trouble. Did not have trouble the last time I played, but that was before the update? I crafted a bucket and attempted to fill it by holding it and right-clicking on the water, and ended up losing the bucket entirely. Same thing happened with one of my milkweed fibres. Am I doing something wrong? I don't want to keep losing my items!

It sounds like you know what to do, but you are failing to execute properly.

Fill Bucket:
1. Left Click Bucket to grab in hand
2. Right click on water source

Wash Charred Milkweed Fibers in River/Lake
1. Left Click Charred Milkweed Fiber to grab in hand
2. Right Click water to wash

Wash Charred Milkweed Fibers with Bucket:
1. Left Click Bucket to grab in hand
2. Right Click Charred Milkweed Fiber with the Bucket in hand

Is it safe to assume that other Right/Left Mouse Button actions are working correctly for you?

Just tried it with another fiber- left clicked, then right clicked on the lake. Again, the fibre just disappeared out of my inventory. All other functions seem to be working for me.

Just a quick comment for all the new players: seems like you could use clay pot the same way you could use bucket: can add lime to it, can rinse milkweed fibers, can prepare tanning fluid.

Were you already standing in the water? Do you walk with left click or right click? Did you try walking with mouse after selecting fibre and before right clicng on water?
When you right click did your character move a little? Or the only result was the fibre disappearing?
When you were right clicking, did you have the fibre as mouse cursor? You say the fibre disappeared from your inventory, but after left clicking it, it should no longer be there, but at your cursor.

Also, can you provide some screenshots?

1. I was standing in shallow water, with swimming turned off, and right clicking on he deep water. I tried walking with the mouse and it told me I needed to turn swimming on. I also tried with swimming on but that just made me jump in.

2. My character didn't move at all when I right clicked.

3. The fibre was a mouse cursor, yes. When I right clicked, my cursor went back to normal and the fibre had disappeared.

Thanks for your help everyone- washing seems to be working fine for me now. I think my problem was I tried to wash in deep water instead of shallow. Thanks again!
