Greetings Community and Team!

Im playing Salem since about a week, yesterday i got a beta key for my wife. Problem is, we share one IP cause we have one Router in our House.
Does that mind? Cause some Games have in the Rules we have to say that we share one IP cause of "Multiaccounting". Didnt found something about that here yet.
We both have Teamspeak if that would help.

Me and my room mate both play so it's usually fine. I think when it gets to 3 or more accounts it starts to look fishy, or when the accounts are on at the same time with the same PC serial as well as IP.

There's no rules against multi accounting, whether you're one person or two. Using secondary accounts and alts is very common, and it would just be a pain for the devs to try and limit it. Since you can have "infinite" characters on a single account there's nothing in the gameplay that would be overly harmed by it.

Have fun and don't worry about it

The only games I'm aware of with multi-account rules are what I would call "MMORTS" games--Stronghold Kingdoms, etc. Always check the TOS to be sure. If it's not mentioned, you're good to go.

What is this 'TOS' you speak of?

TOS = Terms of Service

I know, I was implying that there is no TOS as far as I'm aware of.

there is, you have to agree to it when creating an account"by removing the shrinkwrap, openning the jewel case, or downloading this software..." I read it twice because that part was sort of weird

I guess I better try to get a new beta key so I can read it then ;p
