Bones

So I just killed a deer (though shifty techniques) and to my surprise and excitement, when I butchered it, it left behind some bones. I have yet to discover what these bones might be used for. Has any1 else made this discovery? If so can you tell me what these bones might be used for?

Can you give us some more detailed info on the "bones"? We don't know what are we looking for yet... Might want to add some bounty just as well to make the things go faster.

I haven't found any recipes involving bones yet, either, though granted - I am completely focused on the farming line.
They did go in my compost bin, though.

Put the bones in a kiln and burn it, get bone ash.
