Put your baskets and boxes INTO your leantos.

I do not go easy on people who have nothing in their leantos but several boxes full of things nearby... and many others wouldn't either.

This is 1 Epic tip, I always store my items in my containers inside my Leanto for the first few days when I don't really settle yet.

how do you put stuff in the leantos, right click it on?

while lifting container right click on leanto. will show as a sack inside the leanto. can hold 2 containers

I try to keep the good ones in my inventory instead :D I'll put some boxes in my lean-to once the server is back up.

Is there any security by placing baskets inside your leanto or is it purely from an organized mind to do so?

If the leanto is your homestead then it is a trackable crime for someone else to remove them.

If the leanto is not your homestead then placing containers in the leanto will offer no protection from thieves.
