You get normal bark from a type of tree, the one with the yellowish leaves. After that you can either boil it to get fibers or i assume toss it on a drying rack to get dried bark.

boil it to get boiled bark, then put on a dry rack.
looks like it dries slower than hide, so it takes 16-24 hrs?

Birch tree for the bark. Boil in a clay pot over a fireplace. Hang to dry on drying rack and wait something that looks like around 12-16hrs.

How long does this boiling take?
I have some bark boiling since yesterday, but they don't get anything like "boiled bark".

Less than a few hours. You have to add water to the pot, with it empty just take it to water and use it like you would a bucket.

Thank you very much!

I only tried to fill in water from a bucket while the pot hang over the fire... Which for some reason seemed more logical to me.
