The purity of the fesh boards equalls the purity of the dry board, stone doesn't affect the purity toooooo bad

Also if your fresh boards are not all exact same purity, the dry boards will be average of all fresh board purity

if you have purity boards, you probably have access to purity dross of the same element (directly or indirectly). Just use that as stone for building the pile.

Kadarim are you sure purity stone affects a timber pile? I've been making piles from natural trees /purity dross and have not gotten any increase in the boards from the woodpiles

I'm not at all...
I simply stated that if you would like to be sure you won't murder your purity in the event that it DOES, you could use dross (a fact some players tend to forget too often).
On the other hand, there's no reason to get pure dry boards right now.

Doesn't it reset instability, letting you cook the boards again?

slamming back 15% wooden knots is a pretty good reason to make purity dry boards, and yeah currently the stone plays no role.
