Blazing Brazier question

Are Blazing Braziers able to hit players on the other side of walls and or trees? What is the best way to play them to protect your claim? I would love to hear from some of the better raiders on some of the best defence they have seen and why. screen shot would even be better if they are around. I think this could be a fun topic as well.

Braziers can fire over walls. The rest I cannot help you with as the question itself creates the assumption that you are running from the law and I will not help criminals shelter in place.

Not running from anyone. They (for me anyway) pretty expensive to make. I would hate to put them in places where they would not protect my camp. Just looking for advise was all. Since I am not into rading or pvp I am really not sure how they work so i figured i would just ask the people who have exp in that matter.

When you select to build one there will be a large red circle that shows everywhere it can fire. As a raider I have busted bases that had 300+ and killed everyone inside. No number of Braziers will "protect" you should you be on the wrong side of the law. But I'm sure they do help some people sleep better at night.

As jwhitehorn points out, braziers aren't meant to be the only defenses in the game. If you want to protect your claim, you need to be vigilant and build all necessary defenses, which includes a town bell. Even then, you need to be sure you are ready to enter combat against several players when you are attacked.

You can buy a founders pack from the store and it comes with a town charter. You could also start gathering lime and trade approx 2000 lime for a charter to either MM Tribe or Candy Gang.

Chief, at one point were you offering to point out weaknesses in base design if the builder sent you a screenshot or an image of their base layout? I remember someone offering to do that, I thought it was you, maybe not.

Hmm... thats possible. I'm afraid I might get in trouble for "trolling" help though if anything were to happen after the fact to said base. Players should "Crop" out their MAP locations if they are not on Plymouth just to be safe.
