the game needs to come to the US

... and there I can be King!
I can become the new Tribe; lmao... not really... seriously though.
I quit,
Leaving Salem.
Legacy pissed me off to no end; but I found ways to coordinate with other who had it to bypass it's infringement.
What I couldn't bypass was connectivity. In the US I pay > $100US/month for Megabits/s for connection speeds that exceed 50Mbps for Boston, Austin, LA, etc... I can even connect with Anchorage AK at over 35 MBps... but Sweden? Stolkhom?... 4 MBps download and upload... and that's best out of 10 attempts...usually its substantially less. I think pay for and expect the next best thing to fiber... and my connection to the game is less than 1/10th of what I expect; considering what I pay for bandwidth.
Jorb- or who-ever... I really like your game... I really wanted to keep playing it. Legacy **** pissed me off to no end; but I was willing to play around it as I could.]Connectivity is the real game-breaker for me. It's a lot more than just PVP... I can barely kill deer at 60 humors... and when my game crashes fighting bear... I'm KO'd by the time I log back in. It's totally impractical. Yes, I'm clearing Java cache... it's not enough... it's a geographical handicap. Servers are in Europe... and I'm in the US. That's what it boils down too.
There's a reason major MMO's have separate servers. This is the most obvious reason possible. I do get good connection sometimes; but it oscilates at a pattern I can't readily identify.
I'm glad I learned of Salem, glad I got a chance to play; but until Salem comes to the US- I don't see a return in any form. No matter you might improve the gluttony system or wipe the entire thing... only a US based server will convince me to give Salem another shot.
Thanks for creating this opportunity.
Frakked.
