Managing Chat Conversations

How do you remove conversations from folks who either quit talking or logged off?
Once the chat channel is created... and I space for just two at the first 'inch' of space... I can't get rid of it... or can I?
Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

Other than logging out, there is no way to make it go away. I believe it has been mentioned before in Ideas & Innovations as a needed function in the client.

Weird, this seemed so basic that I figured it was part of the default client.
But yes, both Ender's and my client will allow you to close pm channels with a small cross in their top-right corner.

This is definitely a client feature that should be prioritized if the default client is to continue to attempt to compete with the custom ones.
