Embarrassing as it is, I was K.O.'d in Boston by a cricket. I was very near the city square so figured I could get back quick enough to retrieve my stuff. However, whilst I was laying unconscious on the floor a player (I don't know who it was), came along. I thought by the animations that he was laughing at me.

Then he appeared to jump on me and other animations. Then my stuff started disappearing. First my backpack, then my purse and slingshot. All these things were equipped. How did he do this? Is this a bug? (Remember this was in Boston).

I stole your stuff while you were KO'd. There are tons of larceny scents right near the Northern stalls in town. You should pick them up and track me down.

A mod should probably move this thread to HoB as well...

so your saying anyone who is KO'ed in the Main town can be stolen from ???

Well I accumulated as much evidence as I could... and ran out of it long before finding either claim or the stolen stuff.

Once it runs out you need to make a leanto, port to Boston, pick up more evidence, port back to the leanto and keep going!

I had thought about that, which is why I didn't bother picking up more evidence.

Briefly, yes you can loot anyone KO'd in Boston's area. You just can't kill them.

If you can find the perp's location, you can always try to contract a kill. Just because you can't do it yourself doesn't mean it can't be accomplished.
