Demek's novice questions

Postby Demek » Fri Oct 04, 2013 4:57 pm

Hello again and thanks for all the help so far.
Creating another thread for more intricate questions, although will start with simple one.
1) Edge of darkness. So far it seems to be consistent north/south wise, but then again I didn't travel much on the west/east axis. I would like to know whether it extends west/east too. The "civilized" land would be in the shape of circle, square or rectangle?

It's longer on the east/west or north/south axis? I did get a message uncivilized land once, but can't really tell a difference until I see my humours draining.

To see deep darkness and humor draining, keep going northwest or southwest from Boston. If you press ctrl + d you can see angle value there. This value is 270.0 everywhere except darkness. When you forward in darkness it goes down step to step. You can see draining in 255 Angle or less than it. Once i saw 239 Angle and had to teleport to Boston.

The seriousness of drain is dependent on your bile levels. Higher biles will start to drain deeper in darkness.
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

Is there an angle/humour table to know how much you can venture out before the drain kicks in? Will probably know asa I see the drain kick in, just curious for higher biles.

I mean 255 is an edge value to understand draining easly. Of course draining is depend on your biles. By the way i recommend Demek to keep away from Darkness now. Firstly he should raise his biles. 100 biles are nice to settle darkess and hunt argopelters.

Thanks, I understand. I just get uneasy seeing so many ruins on my voyage, so naturally you want to settle somewhere far far away.
