I was just wondering how i actually put the boards into the timber pile I keep clicking and cant select it?

Easiest method -

Right click on timber pile construction post
Hover mouse over the dry boards section
hold shift and scroll third mouse button down

Otherwise you right click on on the timber pile post - and then left click a dry board and then left click on the dry board section

Is that when making it? cause its already made I just dont know how to select it now that its made.

You have to wait a few days for the boards to dry. Once they're dry when you right click on it there will be a menu option to "Collect Boards".

Oh ok will that deplete the pile and then i would have to make another?

Yes - once you collect all 40 boards it will disappear and you will have to make another pile to get more boards. You're welcome.
