Water Purity capped at 1.42 for me?

Postby ZtyX » Sun Aug 25, 2013 3:36 pm

Hi.

I've found both salt and mercury water at 1.42. I've tried to look around, but both zones didn't have any higher. This cannot be a coincidence, can it`? Do I need a higher proficiency in something or am I just unlucky?

I don't think you need high proficiency ( i'm not sure tho ) I have port alt all around the map looking for water and found 7% water

I've heard that each server has its own maps in terms of where the purity stuff is found. I've also heard that Jamestown doesn't have stuff above 8-9%. If you check the stalls of Plymouth you will find that there is tons of 10% or stuff near or above 50.00 Alchemical that the Tribe has. Probably Jorb just tampering again with different variables on different servers as he claims he has done in the past (like with stall prices). Wouldn't surprise me at all if the purity on Jamestown is just capped lower (or it has a very unlucky map).

There is 7%+ water but very few people on Jamestown have bothered to look for it so it hard to find to get it from and it takes quite a bit of time to find.

Does anyone have a full map of Jamestown? It sucks to be in the dark...

Hey guys, is there any way to tell what is the purity of water without building a well first?

Yes, all wells have 25/25/25/25 purity.

Realy? That's sad. I thought that underground water has better caracteristics when it comes to purity that sufice water...
Hopefully that will change in future.

No idea if it's a bug or intended. We've never gotten a statement from the devs, but it is on report as a bug. (You can get quality water out of wells on their other game, so why change it here?)
