I have played for a few weeks, managed to acquire basic skills including forestry, mining and agricultural ones, and now I started to try to raise purity of my goods. To my dismay, I am unable to find a definitive guide on how purity works for agriculture or forestry, therefore I am mostly planting in vain, not seeing any significant advances and not understanding what I see. Wiki is mostly silent on this topic, as Salem Wiki: Agriculture and Salem Wiki: Forestry does not speak about purity at all, while Salem Wiki: Compost contains some information, but it is hard to see if it is up to date.
When browsing and searching a forum, one can find lot of topics regarding how purity works, but it is hard to see which of them are obsolete by now and which are still valid. There is http://forum.salemthegame.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=5685 which seems like it should provide definitive answers, but it is very long and the information presented there is unclear or conflicting sometimes.
Regarding Salem Wiki: Agriculture:
It seems crop purity is influenced by fertilizers and seed, however it is not clear to me if humus used before replanting the fields counts.
Regarding Salem Wiki: Forestry:
It seems new tree purity is affected by a cutting purity, a gardening pot purity, humus purity, it is not clear to me if water purity is affecting it as well. Furthermore, it is not clear what affects gardening pot purity. Clay which is it made from only?
Regarding Salem Wiki: Compost:
It seems humus is affected by the purity of the materials used to build the compost, but I am not sure if the purity of the things (grass, weeds, crops) inserted into the compost affect it as well?
If anyone can provide description here, how purity in agriculture and forestry works now (preferably with links to evidence or sources), I will gladly to rewrite any solid and recent information into the Wiki.
