Is there currently a problem With the mail server?

My buddy has been waiting for his confirmation upon creating his account for a few hours now and he can't log in until this have confirmed.

Apparantly the server ignores Hotmail addresses as he was using one. once he changed to a gmail he got it.
Or Hotmail was sucky like always.

Tell him to check his spam folder, or resend the activation email.
